Tiffany Azzinaro, LCSWR

Works With: Ages 12+ | Teens & Adults

Focus Area: Trauma, Schema Therapy, Anxiety and ADHD Assessments
Experience: 16+ years

Beginning therapy is a meaningful decision, and you deserve a clinician who brings both deep expertise and genuine authenticity to the work. I believe effective therapy is more than just talking. It is highly collaborative, grounded in evidence-based practices, and tailored to your unique history, needs, and goals. I create a space where you can show up fully as yourself while feeling supported, challenged, and understood.

I specialize in working with teens and adults (ages 12+) navigating:

  • Trauma & PTSD (including healing from childhood trauma and complex histories)
  • Anxiety & Self-Worth (managing chronic worry, panic, and caregiver stress)
  • ADHD Assessments  (providing clear diagnostic evaluations and practical executive functioning strategies)
  • Life Transitions & Grief (navigating college-related shifts, loss, and identity changes)

My approach is deeply integrative, allowing us to target both immediate symptoms and long-standing life patterns. I specialize in Schema Therapy to help you uncover and heal deeply rooted emotional themes, alongside Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Bibliotherapy. Whether we are exploring old survival patterns or conducting a comprehensive ADHD assessment to help you make sense of how your brain works, our work will build practical skills for lasting change.

You always remain the driver of your treatment. My role is to offer structured guidance, clinical insight, and objective tools that help you move toward clarity, emotional strength, and a more grounded sense of self. I’d be honored to support you as you take this next step in your healing.

Treatment Philosophy

My treatment philosophy is grounded in a simple belief: healing happens when you feel safe enough to show up as your whole, unfiltered self. Therapy with me is a dynamic partnership. I don’t sit back quietly and nod; I am engaged, collaborative, and fully present. I bring clinical expertise, a grounded perspective, and my authentic self into the room, and I invite you to do the same.

How We Work Together

I see therapy as a place where deeply rooted patterns are understood, trauma stories are safely rewritten, and internal parts that have been silenced finally get a voice. My approach blends structure with flexibility, depth with practicality, and insight with action.

To help you move past chronic anxiety and old survival patterns, I actively integrate:

  • Schema Therapy: To identify the core "modes" or emotional blueprints driving your behavior, helping you heal childhood wounds and strengthen your Healthy Adult self.

  • CBT & Action-Oriented Tools: To manage acute anxiety, quiet the inner critic, and build immediate, practical coping skills.

  • Narrative & Bibliotherapy: To help you separate your identity from your struggles and reframe your story on your own terms.

  • ADHD Diagnostic Assessments: Having completed an advanced ADHD certification course with 20+ hours of post-Master’s training, I specialize in comprehensive ADHD evaluations. I offer a clear, structured, and validating assessment process to help you understand your neurotype, cutting through the confusion to provide definitive answers.

Empowering Your Growth

Throughout treatment you remain the expert on your own life. My role is to help you connect the dots, gently challenge the survival strategies that no longer serve you, and give you the tools to lead a life that feels grounded, empowered, and genuinely your own. Real change happens when you not only understand why you are stuck, but also learn how to actively shift those patterns in real-time.

Above all, I believe therapy should feel like a place where you are deeply seen, where your innate strengths are recognized, and where the work is profoundly meaningful.
